    Loved this story, delighted that it was written from the male aspect, made for a pleasant change. Having Tom and John have digs at each other, was just like listening to my two grown up sons when they visit. There is something quite natural and empathetic in the way this author writes, you are captured into the story and you soon endear yourself to life as an islander quite quickly. The characters are quirky and loveable. A thoroughly enjoyable read, would recommend it to anyone. Well done! 👍👍👍

    This was a breath of fresh air reading in a males pov for the whole book! Loved every page only took a morning to read in full! I have never read this author before and am very keen to continue reading her work!
